My Dream

Hey everyone I hope it's okay, but I need to get this out there, because it's been a dream that God has put on my heart. My dream for the young people like me is at that we begin to influence the people around us. I want for all of us to find ways to touch lives and spread the news God like wildfire.

Have you noticed that everytime a major breakout of the Gospel arises, a teenager or young person is always behind it. I mean the disciples were around my age, fifteen. King Josiah became king at age eight, and historians say he was one of the best, David killed a giant at age thirteen, and Jesus at age 12 was already debating pharisees in the temple!

I'm tired of teenagers being expected to act apathetic, lazy, and self-centered, I'm included. I understand though sometimes we can get worn down with the weight of reality, but when have we had enough of that?

On college campuses all over, young people are acting out in the worst way rioting, complaining, and ignorantly following others like sheep following the sheppard. Why are they doing this you might ask, well they are used to not fixing the problems but instead complaining. Instead of taken ownership for their issues, they blame others. Isn't that what millennials are known for? 1 Timothy 4:12, " Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, n life, in love, in faith, and in purity."

Scholars say that our generation is the next "Hero" generation. If that is true, what are we doing to prove their case. I really feel like that we are the next generation to bring about the the Third great awakening, which were sets of revivals that occurred between 1701-1800 that spread from Europe to America

In Jeremiah 1, God begins to call him into ministry. According to the Bible, Jeremiah was just a child/teenager, and like everyone he used that to his defense, but God began to encourage him saying, "“Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” Jeremiah 1:7-8.

God is not calling all of us to his destiny, but He still wants us to spread His words. If you are afraid of speaking to people about your faith, it's okay, because He will, "put my words in your mouth." In continuation, God is going to use us to great things. The way our world is headed; I don't think it's a big deal, if we come in and shake some things up! "See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:10.

If you believe you know your calling, begin to walk it out and continually pray. If you still don't, know ask God for revelation and talk to people who have your best interest at heart.
