The Fight For Freedom

I promised you this article so here it is....

The boat tossed and turned in the ireful waves, like a feather is controlled by the wind, while the ship’s crew desperately warred against the rage full seas… In 1619, a congregation of worshipers gathered together secretly with the fear of being sought out consistently upon their conscious. During this dreadful time, the Church of England, known as the Anglican Church, persecuted anyone who did not share their religious views. As time passed, the secret meetings dissolved. They moved to Holland, where they were able to serve the creator freely. Soon they desired to return home, but were still faced with continual persecution. In unison they decided to pack their bags, pile into a tiny ship, the Mayflower, a headed off to a new world and life.

Everyone agrees that Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter to the Danbury Baptist Association of Connecticut regarding separation of church and state. Some claim there should be a secular separation of church and state and some argue there should not be, so who is right? Decide for yourself. If there was such a thing as a secular separation of church and state then we would completely discard the 1st Amendment we would lose our inherited rights, and the wool would be pulled over our eyes and we will never be able to aid our fellow citizens in reclaiming their freedoms.

On October 7th, 1801 the Danbury Baptist Association of Connecticut drafted a letter complaint to be delivered to President Thomas Jefferson stating that the Government was imposing on their religious rights more than supposed. In a replying letter on January 1st 1802, Jefferson, who wrote the U.S. Constitution, wrote “Believing with you that religion is a matter lying solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to mom other for his faith or his worship that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only & not opinions,…making no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”1 meaning that he nor anyone apart of the Government Branches will make:

1. A prohibition of the free exercise of religion

2. They will not create a national religion or national denomination

thus building a wall to relieve the temptation of building an immoral wall protecting the government from the church instead of the church from the government. This our 1st Amendment. If our founding fathers did not even have a wall of separation in our Constitution originally, then where did the liberal thought of a wall come from? Here are some personal theories: as man moves farther in time we end up moving farther away from God and tend to becoming bolder because of our achievements and begin to think that we don’t need God or any “god”, just like the time before Noah’s flood. Now without Christ in the center we see that the world is rotating in the opposite direction 0f Adam & Eve.

We must keep our religion privatized? Where in the Constitution or any of the Amendments is the sentence stating, “You must not exhibit you faith in the public arena, for it is not politically correct.” Why can’t lawyers display their belief in the court? In Nancy Pearcey’s book “Total Truth” she stated, “If you do not want to risk losing you position, practicing throwing of you faith and accept the prevailing concept is the best option”2 Is this what our founding fathers would have wanted. No! They toiled a vast number of laborious years just for us to be free. Then why do we tear down their principals? As explained before, we desire and ourselves to be lifted higher than God himself as the Nimrod built a tower for self and that brings to a point in time where God turns us over to a perverse mind. Nowadays schools, universities, and the movie industry preach that we need to be immoral (or neutral) by denying God, that is the only way to truth. How are they being immoral when they are pushing you to accept their morals, like when you read an Aesop’s Fable that obtains a theme. Atheist have started to rewrite history that neglect referring to God or the founding fathers’ beliefs. They consistently fight against us, because of our motives. Why don’t we fight back? We leisurely relax while our freedoms diminish. We park ourselves on a couch with our perspectives tinted until one day we realize that we missed the big picture. Try to retrieve our freedom for if we don’t then:

  1. We will not our have our opportunity to worship freely

  2. Other religions will suffer because Jesus Christ is the only Deity that allows free choice

Do what is right for God’s sake.

Where did the time go? One moment we are evangelizing, working miracles, and owning Christians businesses freely, then our right slowly disappear then harshly taken away, then so severe to the point where those companies are forced to shut their doors. In Gresham Oregon a Bakery owner, Melissa Klein, was accused of discriminating against a same sex couple by not preparing a cake for their wedding now they are closing now they are closing their doors. How is this freedom? Is it not written in the “Bill of Rights” the first one freedoms, also in the Constitution freedom of speech. A kindergartner was refrained from praying her lunch, and a first grade teacher took candy from young boy because he used the precious name of Jesus. Those are their rights! How can we as the American people stand up for those freedoms?

  1. You can pay attention during the elections and vote in the ones that do what they claim.

  2. Support the corporations that are parallel to God’s Word.

  3. Always research on any bill and politicians

Assist us in our work for the truth.

If the liberal separation of church and state occurred then the purpose of the 1st Amendment will be useless, our inherited rights would diminish, and our fellow American citizens would be denied their freedoms. Our founding fathers would urge us to defend what they died for.
