Freedom Without Rights?

This is a very important question. In this case I am using guns, but I want you to think about the process and conclusion, because in this day and age, where intolerance is now tolerated, these questions become very critical.
So Gun rights are my issues, I mean I live in Texas, Now let's get down to it!
Why are people so against guns? Is it only because they are dangerous? Or is it because it is politically correct to do so? Socialism, Communism, Tyrannical rule, etc. are all opposed to guns of any kind that are held by civilians. You know why? It's a matter of power. If you can take away someone's ability to protect themselves, then you can control them.
Let's now look at this from the Constitutional level. Our Second Amendment states, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." What does this mean? It means that not only the military, but also the people's rights to own guns should never be infringed upon. Now, this is in our Constitution for a reason. I mean it's the second only to our most important amendment: Freedom of speech, press, petition, and religion (which I will post on later on).
Now you might say, "Jayla, what about the terrorist? What if they get guns?" Here's my answer no matter what you try to do to stop evil, it will always find a way to work around the edge. Our job is to be well prepared to defend ourselves and others as well as preserve our rights.
For instance, we've already tried to vet immigrants (illegal or not); However, criminals still come through. Our job is to protect ourselves as much as possible. Don't get me wrong, getting rid of guns for bad people can be great, but when the freedoms are gone for us too what will be left?
All things considered, here are my last comments. Really think about. How can you take someone's rights and leave them with freedom? How can consistetnly restrict people, and leave them a voice?
