A Bold Move to Surrender

My friend said, "It is time for us to make a bold move to surrender our limited grains to Him as children of the Light." Now at the moment this makes no sense, but once I unpack it will make a profound impact.
See a couple weeks ago this same friend was running against two other candidates for the office of TeenPact President. His slogan along with his running mate's was "Children of the Light" (sound familiar?). His opponents were "Bold Move" and "Hourglass".
You see they were on to something. A lot of us are afraid to make the move God has planned for us. There scripture was Esther 4:14. This is an example of Esther stepping out in faith and walking into her destiny. I have another proposition. Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Why on earth would we be afraid of doing anything, when the God clearly states that he will always be with us?
My next point is this: Hourglass or surrendering our limited grains. Okay think about this. We all have a limited time on earth, right? Well, why not use that time to serve and help others, while glorifying God? No matter what we should never stop submitting ourselves to God.
Lastly, Children of the light. This is a very important, because we as Christians can get so caught up in what everyone else thinks and all of the rituals. But if we stop to think about what Jesus said, our lives would be so much simpler, because we just followed His way. "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3.
