About two weeks ago, my mom ordered me two new pairs of shoes. I was so excited. One of them was a pair of ankle boots, and the other was a pair of flats. My flats came early, but my ankle boots weren't coming til the end of the week on Friday, and I wanted to wear them to school that day. I was dying to get them in time. I prayed every morning and every night that my boots would arrive in time for me to wear them on Friday. I was sorely disappointed when I checked outside our front door Friday morning and there was no package. I went to school, and was surprised to find out that our new temporary campus was two floors, and my class was on the second floor. I was fortunate enough to have a kind classmate who brought my heavy crate up the stairs for me (thank you to him!). When I got home and tried on my new boots, I realized something. God had it all planned out. I would have struggled to make it up the stairs with my crate in ankle boots (which were wedges, by the way). Instead, God knew everything, and he planned it out that my boots wouldn't come in my timing. God knew. I just needed to trust his plan. Are you going to trust God's plan even when it doesn't seem to fit in your timing?
