The title of this article may have confused you. What does "ex nihilo" mean? Don't worry. You don't have to worry about looking it up in the dictionary, because you won't find it. "Ex Nihilo" is Latin. "Ex" is a preposition that means "from" or "out of", and "nihilo" is a form of the Latin word "nihil" which means "nothing". Thus, "ex nihilo" means "out of nothing". This song is saying that we all have bad days. But we're looking at our life from our perspective. We need to back up because we're too close, and only then will we see the whole picture; God can make something out of nothing. This is one of my favorite songs, so enjoy.
